Back at Woodhall Manor in Woodbridge, Suffolk today for another superb wedding, great venue and some very loud guests !

I’ve been hired as a wedding magician a few times this year at Woodhall Manor , which is a beautiful stately home venue in Suffolk with two different wedding reception settings. My first visit in 2017 was a smaller reception in the original building for a banquet style table of about 20 people. It’s pretty rare that you get the opportunity at a wedding to perform table magic for all the guests at once, but the way the room was laid out was perfect for this. 20 or so minutes flew by with everyone and then between courses we had some more entertainment, finishing off with a few bigger pieces for the whole room. It was lovely to receive an email the following day : “Fantastic display and routine at Woodhall Manor at our wedding reception. Many thanks and will be highly recommending you.”
Later in the summer I was back for another wedding, this time most of the time was spent in the bar area of the original building, which comfortably holds 50 people. Had a bi of fun with the staff whilst we waited for the ceremony to finish, and then on with mix and mingle close up magic for the guests. When people look for magicians for hire they are generally looking for either table magic or this kind of stand up walkaround magician, so it’s useful to have a good variety of killer effects for both types of setting:
“Thank you very much for yesterday. My guests are still talking about you today!
Thank you again! You were brilliant.
Kind regards,
Monique and Alwyn “
Hopefully I’ll get some pictures from this one and share on facebook.
Right at the end of the year I was back again, this time in the new function room and bar of the venue, which is great for a larger wedding. This time is was a little table magic after the meal and then all guests were in the larger bar and dance floor area – had some really good fun with age groups from about 8 to 80 !
